Moleside’s December theatre visit was certainly a night to remember – and for most of the right reasons. Luckily we managed to avoid the rail strikes which meant we could get to London as planned. Here we were reminded that a really enjoyable seasonal celebration is simply one in which a large number of us can get together.
Our festive theatre visit to Richard Curtis’s Christmas Actually turned out to be a bit of a turkey – and some of the show’s critics were less kind than that.
However what our early evening meal together afterwards at Brasserie Blanc proved was how good food shared with Moleside friends was the perfect antidote.
On the train home everyone agreed that we’d actually really enjoyed our club visit to the bright lights and hospitality of London’s South Bank.
Thanks to Andrew & John for handling the arrangements and to Kay for her help with the photographs.
