Facilitated by Ebert, the inaugural meeting of our new monthly Money Matters group proved a clear demonstration of the informative enjoyment such a mix can deliver
Anyone wanting to get a taste of what the new group might be able to give in terms of a more complete appreciation of current goings on in the world, can feed constructively from the views of the different, professional specialities represented in the room.
Focusing this month, coincidentally in the week when it was seriously suggested elsewhere that AI presents the possibility of doing away with humanity altogether, Moleside discussion centred around whether we are facing Boom or Bust.
The speed with which our own lives are now able to change was acknowledged whilst remembering that change at global – rather than personal – levels has evolved historically much more slowly.
Considering what’s at stake now – alongside the potential becoming available to better the lives of many of us – will provide a steady stream of topics for future, well informed deliberations.
