Hackers coordinator John Watkins reports…
Six members took to the Clandon course and Peter Gauld romped away with first place scoring 16 points, Spencer Needs was second with 12 points and Terry Bartholomewcame home in third place with 8 points. Needless to say Peter’s handicap was reduced considerably for the August game.
And more arrived to celebrate ….
After the golf the six players were joined by another six either injured or past it golfers and we all had a very enjoyable lunch at The Onslow Arms. It was nice to have the opportunity to sit round a table with a glass of wine and just talk about nothing important. Mind you at the same time we did manage to put right the economy and solve the problems of getting all the country vaccinated!
