Moleside's Holiday for 2026

Barry certainly achieved an enthusiastic response to the plan he has negotiated for our club holiday in 2026. Here’s how he described the programme that he has laid out for us.
Medieval history meets breezy Mediterranean vibes in Dubrovnik, where towering stone fortresses rise from the sparkling Adriatic Sea. This carefully curated holiday balances relaxation, social, and cultural exploration, venturing beyond Dubrovnik into the stunning landscapes of Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

A Night At The Opera
Wednesday 28 October
Alec has lined up an October Moleside concert that will delight lovers of opera and offers a programme for all of us built around the duets, trios and arias that have long been show stopping moments in the world of music.
Following our own time honoured tradition, our coach will deliver us to Sloane Square in time for an evening meal before we join the audience, five minutes walk away, in Cadogan Hall in good time to take our seats for the concert.
Alec has prepared a detailed Information Sheet including links to performances of many of the works we’ll be hearing on the night. So, if you aren’t sure whether you can tell your Bizet from your Puccini, here’s an opportunity to prepare your ground for a terrific concert.

Christmas at Cadogan Hall
Tuesday 1 December
Even whilst we still had the chance to continue basking in the last days of our record breaking summer heat, Alec was busy laying down plans for our club’s Christmas Concert evening.
The meal he’s lining up at Cote in Sloane Square and the concert that will follow just around the corner in Cadogan Hall will allow us to share virtuoso performances of great seasonal words and music whilst supporting the work of Macmillan Cancer Care.
